Mike was born and raised in Central New York and he has been enjoying the woods and waters of the Adirondacks for over thirty five years. After completing college with a degree in finance, Mike partnered with his father in the family’s plumbing business. To this day he credits his father for his strong work ethic.
Mike has been a Sportsmen Education instructor with the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation since 1994, where he stresses respect and stewardship of our land. He also instructs outdoor education at Mohawk Valley Community College where he has developed courses in map and compass reading, wilderness survival, and wilderness first aid.
Mike’s interests include hunting, fishing, kayaking, and snowshoeing. He also dabbles in freelance writing and has had several articles published about the outdoors.
When offered the opportunity to join the Christmas & Associates team, Mike jumped at the chance...
