Growing up with Dan Christmas, Marc knew what an acre of land looked like before most kids could read or write. With his dad by his side, he spent years learning and crafting his woodsman skills to that of the old-fashioned Adirondack wood cutters. His strong work ethic stems partly from the lessons learned while working in the woodlands and his respect for the land remains rock solid. With his dad, he marked boundaries, worked in the woods, traveled to board meetings and sat at numerous kitchen table discussions about great tracts of land. He has hunted, fished, canoed and camped most of his life. While central New York is Marc's home, he has toured large tracts of land in Colorado and Montana and has gained the experience needed to help folks interested in our properties in the western part of the country. Chad Landry comes to us from the Adirondack Mountains where he worked with his father at their family-owned logging business in Tupper Lake, New York. Chad learned about hard work at an early age—spending weekends and days off from school with his father learning how to harvest lumber and manage timberlands. More recently, Chad turned his love for working in the woods into a new career at Christmas & Associates. Chad enjoys talking to people about land and is especially skilled at advising customers about the value of timber on their property. Chad’s background is also helpful when he works with customers to choose a site for building a cabin or the best location to locate a driveway. Chad’s early years in the woods also make him pretty skilled at spotting wildlife, so you won’t miss much if you are out walking land with Chad. When Chad isn’t showing land to customers, he enjoys the outdoors and can be found riding a four-wheeler or a snowmobile in his free time.
